"Assist Développement in the centre of new technologies with the TAG IP project."

Assist Développement invests in TAG-IP, the fleet management system by geo-location in Madagascar and the Indian Ocean, developed by Malagasy engineers.

Assist Développement moves into new technology and confirms its competences in this field by investing in TAG-IP. This vanguard technology on Internet Protocol is an innovative system developed by a team of exclusively Malagasy engineers. It will be the solution that will revolutionize the communication field, especially the geo-location in Madagascar and its neighboring regions.

TAG IPWhat does TAG IP consist of?
TAG IP is a fleet management system by GPS Tracking.
The satellite data provide a visual comfort ranging from 50 to 100 meters and the reports are available in attached files. They can be adapted to the specific needs of each partner. Thus, all the data transmitted directly from vehicles converge to the servers from where they are processed by software in real time.
The system is proposed for 40 € per vehicle per month.

Its interests:
Are then to analyze and report daily:
- The exact location of the vehicle,
- The fuel consumption,
- The departure and stopping time,
- The speed control (city and highway),
- The total distance covered point by point and the different stopping times with geo-location,
- The number of travelling and stopping hours,
- The tracing of the travelled distance,
- The detection of the Panic Button (SOS),
- The detection of entry or exit from the area (Geo-Fencing)…

TAG IPTAG-IP, Assist Développement’s partnership with Malagasy collaborators
According to Marc Riviera, the director of the project, TAG-IP is the result of a one year research, conceived with the collaboration of about forty Malagasy engineers. The Malagasy people are known in the region to be talented in ICT fields, particularly for the role they play in research and development programs.
The system has been realized in partnership with Telma, the telephone operator that supplies the used chips.

At the conquest of the Indian Ocean
TAG-IP is already on test in many big companies in Madagascar, but it will be also marketed in the Indian Ocean countries especially in the Reunion Island and Mayotte.
