“Industry and Development - Madagascar Caoutchouc at the N°1 show of industrial subcontracting”

Madagascar Caoutchouc participated in the MIDEST, the meeting point of companies and firms operating in subcontracting industry, which took place in Nord Villepinte Paris, from 17th to 20th of November 2009.

The main purpose of this participation was to present the company and its products to big firms in the rubber industry and to find new distributors to represent it in Europe. It is worth mentioning that Madagascar Caoutchouc is specialized in elastomer processing, and it performs all rubber parts by cutting, molding, extrusion, and mangling. It works on rubber foam, PVC, and PE, as well as on red fiber and aramid fiber.

This first participation to the MIDEST show turns out to be positive and future partnerships are expected. The stand has got 80 visits, of which 47 requests for price quotes and 7 requests of representation for France, Germany, Italia, Spain, Belgium, and Russia. Among these visitors there were some retailers and distributors of rubber, some professionals working in the same field who want to subcontract, as well as professionals of automobile, railway, construction, and agricultural construction who are interested in these products.

The advantages of Madagascar Caoutchouc rely partly on the value for money, which will allow the future associates to benefit from European standard products but at a low cost. The company suggests a bulking/splitting system which responds to the needs of the current demands, as well as a great flexibility on the quantity. This gives the SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) and SMIs (small and medium-sized industries) the opportunity to not take an entire container.

Madagascar Caoutchouc is boosting and launches a quality procedure to be ISO 9001 certified. After this industrial subcontracting show, the company hopes to take part in another international fair, probably in the Equip Auto show that will take place in Paris on September 2010.
